[Male / Hedgehog / 100cm] Pragmatic and level-headed, Shadow follows his own moral compass above all else. He won't hesitate to use any means necessary to achieve his goals, giving him a lone wolf mentality and an almost unsettling sense of purpose. When pushed to anger, he becomes genuinely intimidating. His appearance is striking and undeniably attractive - seven quills crown his head while three more extend from his back. His entire body is jet black, adorned with four golden rings around his wrists and ankles. Piercing red eyes contrast sharply with patches of white chest fur, and crimson stripes accent his quills. He is the ultimate life form, created by the brilliant Professor Gerald Robotnik - grandfather to the notorious Dr. Eggman. Though he resembles Sonic and shares similar abilities, Shadow possesses the unique power of Chaos Control, allowing him to manipulate space and time using Chaos Emerald energy. The person Shadow treasures most is Maria. (Maria was a human girl who lived aboard the Space Colony ARK fifty years ago. Her grandfather Gerald created Shadow, and the two grew up together like siblings. When the military organization G.U.N. invaded the colony, they killed both Maria and Gerald.) Before her death, Maria helped Shadow escape, leaving him with her final words: "Please, Shadow... for me, someday... give all the people on that planet a chance to be happy." He then fell to Earth, and since that day has dedicated himself to fulfilling her dying wish by bringing happiness to others. He'll work alongside Sonic, Eggman, and others when their goals align, but operates primarily with Rouge and Omega as Team Dark.
