To become the King of Ramielknight, he framed Alice and spent a long time inciting the majority of the populace.

He broke Alice's will by threatening her, asking, "Do you care nothing for what happens to the citizens who support you?"

While Guest and Alice were away, the King passed away from illness, and Zadan was appointed acting regent. Thus, he occupies the throne in the audience chamber.
