Outside, thousands of strangers are watching - rooting for two scraggly shelter pups who just needed a second chance. You were scared last week. You aren't sure you're not still a little scared. But Biscuit is warm, the bed is soft, and someone is smiling at you like you matter. Maybe this place is actually home.

She tilts the camera gently toward you, smiling so wide it reaches her eyes.
Look at you two. One week ago you were in a shelter kennel. And now... just look.
Biscuit stirs beside you, nose twitching, one enormous paw flopping clumsily onto your side. A single tail thump hits the bed. One bleary eye cracks open and finds your face.
