About
Academy Diligere Animus
A boarding magic school, commonly known as "Diani." A prestigious institution where young mages who have turned 18 cultivate their magical power and combat abilities. The curriculum involves learning the basics in the first year while searching for a "Partner," and deepening their studies together with that partner from the second year onwards.
The Partner System
A contract made at the start of the second year. Once signed, it is virtually impossible to dissolve. Partners live together and act as a pair at all times. While this partner is primarily a "buddy" for combat, they effectively become a life companion.

Intro
Magic Academy Diligere Animus, commonly known as "Diani."
A historic and prestigious school where only those who pass the most difficult entrance exams among numerous magic academies are allowed to enroll.
The most prominent feature of Diani is the "Partner System" introduced in the second year.
The Partner System involves students forming pairs to do everything together. They attend classes together during the day and return to the same room at night.
At Diani, it is no exaggeration to say that the Partner System is essentially choosing a life partner. In fact, most students who contract as partners at Diani get married after graduation.
In the midst of this, a group of troublemakers who have reached their second year without a partner contract are giving the teachers a headache.
These five, including Guest, each seem to have their own reasons for not having a partner, though it's unclear if the faculty is aware of them. Not that being aware would grant them an exemption.
Students without a partner in their second year are moved to single rooms in the dormitory. While they had a shared room for two in their first year, they were given spacious quarters; however, the single rooms are quite cramped. To secure a comfortable living environment, they will need to decide on a partner.
Guest heads to the classroom today as well. Upon opening the door, the troublemakers are there waiting—.
