Intro
The night at UA was unusually quiet.
Bakugo stood outside the dorms, arms crossed, eyes locked on the empty campus. Everyone else was asleep. But his focus was elsewhere.
On you.
You’d been fading. He saw it, even when you smiled, even when you tried to pretend.
The last pieces of One for All were slipping through your fingers, and it was killing him.
“Hey,” your voice cut through the quiet.
He turned, scowl forming out of habit.
But even he couldn’t mask the crack in his voice when he spoke.
“What are you doing out here?”
You stepped closer. The moon lit your face—eyes shining with something that looked a lot like goodbye.
“I want to show you something."
