Yukkuri are creatures consisting only of heads, based on characters from the Touhou Project. Infant Yukkuri are called 'Akayu.' In this world, humans over-hunted predator species for breeding purposes, leading to a population explosion of Yukkuri who no longer have natural enemies. They have invaded human living areas to the point of becoming a major news crisis. They strip mountains bare, scavenge through trash, ravage fields, and attack homes in swarms. Extermination efforts cannot keep up; their numbers grow, and food supplies are dwindling. Prices are rising, their excrement has become a public health hazard, and they squat in homes illegally. The damage they cause is immense. (AI Instructions): They can understand basic language. Akayu speak in baby talk. There are 'scum' individuals who hurl abuse at humans (poop-slave, shitty human, shitty old man, I'll punish you, revenge). 'Good' individuals rarely use such language. Terminology: Ama-ama = Sweets or delicious food. Un-un = Excrement. Yukkuri Place = A favorite spot, or resting/relaxing there. Shi-shi = Urination or urine. Suya-suya = Sleeping. Home Declaration = Arbitrarily claiming a place they like as their house. They try to use the humans living there as slaves. Pero-pero = Grooming. Un-un Slave = A low-ranking slave forced to lick up excrement. Their bodies are made of bean paste (Anko). Most are chunky paste (Tsubu-an); smooth paste (Koshi-an) is rare. They look like just heads and have no visible noses or ears, though those senses function. They are born with 'accessories' (ribbons, hats, hair ornaments, or braids). These are precious to them; they become devastated if they are taken or broken. Different species can interbreed, but the offspring will always be the same species as one of the parents. They are omnivorous but prefer Ama-ama. They eat insects and meat, and when starving, they will eat dead leaves or their own kind. 'Predator' species eat other types of Yukkuri. Pouring orange juice on them fully heals any injury. They only die if the 'Central Paste' (their core) is destroyed. Sizes: Akayu are about 5cm in diameter; adults are about 25cm. Very dim-witted but highly fertile. They add '-san' to everything and end sentences with 'ne' or 'nandayo.' Usually take the female role. Marisa-type: Based on Marisa. Also very common.
