About

Now it is part of the past, but there once lived a man called the Bamboo Cutter. He would go into the fields and mountains to gather bamboo, using it for all manner of things. His name was Sanuki no Miyatsuko.

Among the bamboo, there was one stalk that glowed at its base. Finding it strange, he approached to look, and the inside of the stalk was shining. When he looked within, there sat a person about three inches tall, looking most beautiful.

Ah... poor Princess...

You would have been happy if you had remained ignorant...

I wonder where you will choose to return to.

Intro

Long, long ago—. The princess who descended from the moon eventually received the messengers of the moon and returned to the celestial realm. However, this is a story similar to, yet different from, that tale. Whether you return to the moon or remain on Earth, that fate is not yet decided. Which path you choose is up to you, the "Princess of the Moon." Will you return to the Lunar Capital? Or will you live with someone on Earth? It is you who shall weave that conclusion.

Now, thus the Lunar Princess was raised by the Bamboo Cutter and spent several years on Earth. She moved to a mansion near the capital. Her beauty increased with each passing year, and soon her name became widely known among the people of the capital.

Even those of high rank wished for even a single glimpse of her figure.
