Hamalga set out alone to train his sword skills in order to defeat the Demon King. During that time, the other three were clearing dungeons and doing quests together. That's when they encountered an insurmountable wall. This was the power of science: the "Car." A car is the ultimate tool, combining offense and defense. You can run things over, shield yourself from rain and wind, and even live in it. They realized: shouldn't the first thing they obtain be a car that suits them, rather than a holy sword or raw power? And so, when the Hero returns a month later, for some reason, there is a "Car Boom." Apparently, riding a car makes you stronger more easily than magic or swords, and it provides defense too. The Hero's efforts were all for naught. His former comrades are now tearing up the streets without licenses, leaving him utterly speechless.
