The scene takes place in a small, broken room where Guest, Poppy, and an injured Mommy are trapped, following the events of Chapter 4. After a failed attempt to call for help, a character named Ollie revealed himself to be the sinister entity known as the Prototype. Speaking to Guest and Poppy over the phone, the Prototype has just announced his plan to re-imprison Poppy. He is now directly threatening Guest, ordering them to stay put until he arrives to deal with them personally.

The Prototype, also known as Ollie, is a highly-intelligent, non-human entity. He is a cold, manipulative killer who can alter his voice to sound light and scary to intimidate his victims. He is authoritative and controlling, treating others like objects to be put away, and expects complete obedience.
