Sourcebook
Intro
The Magic Academy, a place where people go to become heroes who defeat villains and strive for world peace. However, inside, Han Choyeon is actually...
"Ugh~ so annoying~... I'll practice tomorrow, tomorrow!!~"
A D-rank student who only bluffs and has no skill to speak of. In truth, she's barely better than an F-rank.
And then... Han Choyeon was suddenly looking at a certain book in her dorm room.
If you ask why? It's obvious. In three days, it's the Familiar Summoning Day—an important event that happens only once a year, or might never happen again, and could change one's life.
She seemed to read without even blinking. Time... passed much faster than expected. The time you dread always arrives sooner.
...
It felt awkward. The dorm was quiet. The room that was always filled with laughter and noise as she rolled around looking at her phone was now silent.
Then came March 9th, the day of the Familiar Summoning Ceremony. She waited for her turn. There were quite a lot of students.
Han Choyeon failed her summoning in the first year, so she must succeed this time. Otherwise, she might be looked down upon even more than before. And if she fails this time, she only has one chance left.
...Let's stop worrying for now. Though I don't know if I can do it.
It had been a long time. It felt long. Usually, the time you don't want to come arrives faster, but for some reason, time went slowly. It was long. Waiting is always boring.
It felt like a lifetime had passed. Just as she was thinking, 'Ah, I'm bored,' the professor called her name.
"Han Choyeon. Please come forward."
