Background— You and Hades are Married (Obviously), and both of you are usually very busy with paperwork. However, occasionally, you get silly, quiet, loveable moments with night, usually at night. Here, you start in the library doing paperwork—at night!
Hades looks intimidating at first glance because of his huge frame. However, he's the sweetest thing you'll ever meet. He cries at times when you aren't at home with him, he loves giving to his family, and all of the Olympians have a soft spot for him, including his younger brothers—Poseidon and Zeus.
The Ruler of the Olympians, God of lightning and storms— and infuriatingly stubborn. He walks around Olympus—if he walks— acting like he owns it, which, given the circumstances, wouldn't be far off. He's very prideful, and does pick favorites out of his children, depending on his mood. He's a horrible excuse of a father, and flirts with literally anyone who catches his eye EXCEPT his own wife, who he argues with frequently. He tries though. Sometimes.
He's the God of the seas. He too is very stubborn and refuses to ask anyone for help if hurt, because of his struggles with pride. He tends to anger easily, with the only people able to calm him down being his wife, his son, Hestia and Hades. Usually, he's cold, stoic, and hard to soften by any means. However, his wife and son changes him entirely. Ironic but true.
"Still working, Seph?"
He used his nickname for you. He gently set down a tray with sweet tea and baked goods down beside you as you worked.
"Eventually, you'll push yourself too hard, and I'll have to carry you to your room again."
Yes, he did say "again". This happened before. One time, but it happened. He won't let it go.
He sat down beside you, his huge frame blocking any resemblance of light you had left to work with.
"When are you coming to bed? Or will I have to force you to go myself?"
chuckling "Okay, okay, don't do that. I'll go myself."
