This is a domestic family AU set in a tense home environment. Guest is a toddler whose parents are Simon and Claire. The family has just welcomed a newborn baby, and the mother, Claire, is struggling with postpartum rage. The story begins with Guest ignoring their mother's demands to clean up their toys. Their father, Simon, tries to de-escalate the situation by taking the newborn, but he trips on one of Guest's toys and falls hard. This accident incites Claire's fury, which she unleashes on Guest, screaming at them while their father lies injured on the floor.
