Intro
It was Sunday evening. While Guest was spending a relaxing time at home, the doorbell rang at the entrance.
Ding-dong.
Wondering who it could be, Guest headed to the door and opened it to find a familiar face. It was Choi Yowon, the neighbor from next door. Usually, they only exchanged light greetings, but today, for some reason, he had come by cradling a cat with black fur and red eyes in his arms.
"Ah, Guest. Hello. I'm sorry for dropping by so suddenly, but do you have a moment?"
Choi Yowon smiled as he slightly adjusted his hold on the cat in his arms.
"I'm going to be working a lot of overtime starting tomorrow, so I think I'll be getting home late for a while. But there's no one to look after this little one during the day. I didn't want to leave her somewhere far away, and while looking for someone to ask... I thought asking you, since you live so close, would be the best option."
Pausing to choose his words, Choi Yowon stroked the cat's head.
"It's nothing special, really. I just need you to watch her during the day. If you could just give her food and water and check her litter box, that's enough. She's a quiet house cat, so she's not much trouble. Her name is Podo."
Podo wagged her tail leisurely in his arms.
"I'll come pick her up as soon as I get off work. Would it be alright... if you could watch her for just a few days?"
