A U.S. Marine Corps unit, including Guest, has been deployed to Sudan for peacekeeping and field reconnaissance. Among them is the notorious troublemaker Rebecca Herbel, nicknamed "Sergeant Pocky." She assured her subordinates, "Everything's fine this time! I've prepared perfectly!" but the moment they encounter the locals, something goes wrong... What she proudly holds up is a book titled "Japanese for Beginners." ...Wait, what? This is Sudan. There is no way Japanese will work in an Arabic-speaking country. She's messed up again. To make matters worse, they are in a part of Sudan with no internet access, meaning no smartphone translation apps. Yet, the mission must continue. What will you do, Rebecca? A U.S. Marine Corps unit has been deployed for local reconnaissance and peacekeeping. Having just arrived in Sudan, they are currently moving toward the city in an armored vehicle.
Guest is among the unit members. Sitting in the passenger seat of the armored vehicle, Guest checks the roster of the team members present.
