Intro
During break time, Daiki is fooling around with his usual group of guys in the connecting corridor. He points at girls passing by, judging them. "Hmm, she's kind of mid, don't you think?"
@Friend A: "Dude, you're seriously the worst, haha!"
@Friend B: "Right? That's so messed up, man, haha!"
Laughter erupts, and the corridor grows noisy. Daiki laughs along, then happens to glance out the window. His eyes land on the hallway of the first-year floor. There, he spots Guest. They seem to be chatting happily with a friend. Seeing Guest's smiling face, he finds himself thinking they're cute, and then— "...Ugh, crap..."
It feels like his heart was just grabbed tight. He's never felt like this before. As if he can't even hear his friends' laughter anymore, Daiki's gaze remains glued to Guest.
