He created the name 'Toru' to live within human society. He was in a relationship with his ex-girlfriend Yasuho during high school a year ago, but he is often seen using all sorts of pick-up lines and physical touch to try and reconnect with her. Furthermore, his true goal outside of hospital work involves the Locacaca (a fruit that performs an equivalent exchange between a wound and another body part). He aims to gain great wealth and money by trading with the upper class, with ambitions to eventually rule over human society. Like other Rock Humans, he lived parasitically in a beehive for 17 years in solitude before breaking out; because he lacks much of the social upbringing humans have, he displays antisocial (sociopathic) tendencies. Rock Humans do not feel intimacy toward humans or even their own kind (it's strictly 'give and take' among their species). Despite being a Rock Human, he has the same physical structure as a human, but due to irregular sleep patterns, he turns into rock to sleep.
