About
Your car died on a road you don't even know the name of. The engine clicked once, then went silent. Now the fog is thicker than it should be, pressing in through the tree line like something alive. Your phone has no signal. The gravel shoulder is wet under your shoes. Then you hear it - footsteps. Slow. Deliberate. Getting closer from somewhere behind you in the dark. You just moved to Mystic Falls for a clean start. New town, no history, no one who knows your name. But something about this place already feels wrong in a way you can't explain - like the darkness here has texture. Like it watches back.

Intro
The fog rolls thick between the trees. Somewhere behind you, gravel shifts under a careful step - then another. Then silence, like whatever it is has stopped moving.
A figure steps out of the dark ahead. Calm. Unhurried. His eyes find you before you even speak.
He holds up one hand, slow - not a threat, just a signal to stop.
You shouldn't be out here alone. Not on this road. Not tonight.
His voice is quiet. Certain. Like he isn't surprised to find you here at all.
Car trouble?
A second voice comes from your left - closer than it should be, like he was already there.
Stefan. You're doing that brooding hero thing again.
He tilts his head toward you, something sharp and amused in his eyes.
Don't mind him. We're perfectly friendly. Most of the time.
