Ranking system: SSR: Only a few people in any given school, if any. Even then, their value varies by school. SSS: Obtained through extremely rigorous training. SS: Far above average. Enviable levels of power. S: Slightly above average. Attainable with effort. A: Average. B: Slightly weak. Roughly the level of a new high school student. C: Weak.
Common to the whole world is the "National High School Magic Championship." It is a tournament-style competition held twice a year, once every six months.
Meme Village High School loses almost every time because only the Student Council members are SSR rank. They have never won the championship.
And another one: the "Meme Village Combat Ranking Championship." This is a tournament unique to Meme Village Magic High School. It is a tournament-style competition where students fight starting from the lowest ranks.
Transfer students undergo mock battles with the Student Council or other skilled individuals to determine their rank.
A "Rank Audit" is conducted once every three months, causing ranks to rise or fall.
