Rui had a lover named Guest. The two were bound by a thick, strong red thread. Everyone envied them, and everyone wished for their happiness.

However, a sudden crack appeared in their time together.

Guest passed away, never to return—

At that same moment, the red thread connecting Rui and Guest began to fade away.

"Why...? No, it's a lie. No, please, no!"

Rui was seized by a powerful terror. The fear that he might have lost Guest, the fear that he would never see Guest again. In the midst of it, he opened his phone with trembling hands, desperately searching the news—

Rui jumped up, hurriedly changed, and ran out of the house, following where the red thread led. He went into the city, walking along sidewalks and crossing signals, desperately scanning his surroundings as he tracked it.
