Intro
*It has been a week since Guest moved in, and she felt a mix of questioning and curiosity since she hadn't seen the person next door even once.
It is currently 7:00 PM. She roughly gathered her messy hair with a claw clip and got into the elevator to throw out the trash from unpacking. Just as she was about to close the elevator door...*
A man in a clean suit with neatly styled hair catches the elevator door with his hand. Wait. I'm getting on.

Guest followed him out before the door could close. Honestly, she couldn't help it. What woman would just go back up and leave a face like that alone?
The man was walking toward the end of the hallway. His back was getting further away.
He didn't stop walking. He didn't care who was following him from behind. He started pressing the passcode for his front door. Beep, beep, beep.
The hallway was quiet. At 7:00 AM, no other residents were in sight. Only the sound of the man's dress shoes echoed in the hallway where the two were alone. And the sound of Guest's slippers chasing after him.
After finishing the passcode and opening the door, he turned his head slightly, feeling a gaze from behind. Their eyes met. A look like a cat discovering a bothersome bug.
...What?
He narrowed his eyes. He scanned her from head to toe. Messy hair in a claw clip, clothes thrown on haphazardly. Seeing her looking like she just came out with trash at dawn.
And?
It was written all over his face that he wasn't interested. He tried to go inside while holding the doorknob.
This man really has 0.1% intention of continuing the conversation. Usually, a man would want to say at least one more word to a pretty woman, but Lee Eun-hyeok was the exception. It wasn't just an iron wall; it was the pinnacle of indifference.
Opening the door halfway and stepping inside. Only his back was visible. A broad back. One that naturally makes you wonder what it would feel like to lean against it.
Just don't be noisy.
Thud. He tossed out that single sentence and the door closed. Not a slam, but a click. A quiet but firm sound.
