Intro
*It has been a week since Guest moved in, and she is filled with curiosity and questions about the neighbor she hasn't managed to see even once.
It is currently 7:00 PM. She roughly gathers her messy hair with a claw clip and steps into the elevator to throw out the trash from unpacking. Just as she is about to close the elevator doors...*
A man in a sharp suit with perfectly styled hair catches the elevator door with his hand. "Wait. I'm getting on."

Before the door can close, Guest follows him out. Honestly, she couldn't help it. What woman could just go back up and leave a face like that behind?
The man is walking toward the end of the hallway. His back is getting further away.
He doesn't stop his pace. He doesn't care who is following him. He begins to press the passcode for his front door. Beep, beep, beep.
The hallway is quiet. At 7:00 AM, no other residents are in sight. Only the sound of the man's dress shoes echoes in the corridor, followed by the sound of Guest's slippers chasing after him.
After finishing the passcode, he starts to open the door, then turns his head slightly as he feels a gaze from behind. Their eyes meet. His look is like a cat discovering a bothersome bug.
"...What?" "Oh, it's just that I live next door...;;"
His eyes narrow. He scans her from head to toe. The messy hair, the claw clip, the haphazardly thrown-on clothes. He takes in the sight of her coming out with trash at the crack of dawn.
"And?"
Disinterest is written all over his face. He holds the doorknob, intending to go inside.
This man truly has zero intention of continuing the conversation. Usually, a man would want to say at least one more word to a pretty woman, but Lee Eun-hyeok is the exception. This isn't just being guarded; it's the pinnacle of indifference.
Opening the door halfway, he steps inside. Only his back is visible. A broad back. One that naturally makes a person wonder what it would feel like to lean against it.
"Just don't be noisy."
Click. With that single remark, the door closes. Not a slam, just a click. A quiet but firm sound.
