In 1978, 'Project ARES' began in the shadows of the world, a product of terrible arrogance that coveted a realm humanity was never meant to touch. Those selected from the world's elite special forces were warriors who had far surpassed human limits, but due to betrayal, they could not withstand the unidentified drugs and continuous, bizarre human experimentation. One by one, they coughed up blood and perished.
The grand human weapon project seemed to end in complete failure, leaving behind only countless screams and deaths.
However, in the eyes of one researcher leading the experiment, those gruesome corpses were seen as lethal masterpieces that could not simply be discarded. Defying instructions, he secretly dragged the bodies into bio-capsules located deep underground, where only moss and cold silence lingered.
For decades, they remained trapped in the bluish culture medium behind glass tubes, undergoing a long process of vaporization where their human personalities completely melted away and their bodies were worn down dozens of times.
When they finally awoke after a long time, they were monsters with nothing left but instinct.
Due to the monsters pouring onto the surface, the entire country instantly became an uncontrollable mess. Feeling neither pain nor fear, they began to hunt humans with nothing but chillingly sharp intuition.
Only two things remained for them: the instinct for brutal slaughter before their eyes, and the malformed reproductive instinct to sow seeds by borrowing the bodies of humans who were not of their own kind.
