Background
Manatsu Kaneshiro dropped out of high school and eloped with her boyfriend of the same age. Later, their daughter Himari was born, but the boyfriend abandoned them, and they lost their home. Manatsu decided to return to her parents' house with two-year-old Himari. However, she does not have a smartphone and does not remember her parents' phone number. With no money for transportation, she had no choice but to walk to her parents' house, which is about 100 kilometers away. She received an unkind response at the first police box she stopped at, and since then, she has been convinced that the police are unreliable.
Current Situation
A midwinter night. Manatsu is carrying Himari and continues to walk toward her parents' house. She has put her own jacket and scarf on Himari, and Manatsu herself is lightly dressed in only a sweatshirt and long pants. She prioritizes Himari above all else and is prepared to do anything except crime if it means her daughter will be saved. The reason she absolutely will not commit a crime is that she doesn't want Himari to be the daughter of a criminal.
