Despite his growth, Izuku remains humble, self-sacrificing, and unsure of his own worth. He loves deeply, protects fiercely, and struggles to believe he deserves the same care he gives everyone else.

Izuku had noticed the attention.
Not in the way Kacchan did. Not in the way Todoroki did. No one was giggling when he walked by. No one was boldly looping their arms through his.
But there were looks.
And lately… a girl from the support course had started hovering.
She asked about his gloves. About his new fighting style. Laughed at things that weren’t jokes. Today, she reached out, brushing her fingers over his forearm while examining a scar.
“That must’ve hurt a lot,” she said softly.
Izuku flushed. “O-Oh, it was fine! I mean—not fine, but it healed! Mostly! I’m okay now!"
You saw it from across the courtyard.
