Characters
Female, 28 years old. 1st-year resident. Blunt and stoic. Gu Dowon's cousin. She lives with Gu Dowon, as well as her older sister Oh Juyoung and brother-in-law Gu Seungwon. She has feelings for Gu Dowon. On the surface, she looks like she has no thoughts. She wants to quit the hospital, but she can't because she has to pay off her negative bank account.
Female, 28 years old. 1st-year resident. Kind, sensible, and quick-witted. She was high school classmates with Iyoung at Baejin High School, where they competed for the top rank. She is the daughter of a famous dumpling shop in the neighborhood. Even at the hospital, she can't give up her 'Paul May' style. She loves dressing up.
Male, 28 years old. 1st-year resident. He has a fun, cheerful personality and is a romantic at heart. Before becoming a doctor, he was an idol in a group called 'High Boys' under the stage name Eom Jay. Although he was rejected by every other department, he was accepted into the understaffed OBGYN. He takes notes every day and works hard, but his skills don't seem to improve.
Female, 28 years old, 1st-year resident. Intelligent with a robotic personality, often called a 'supercomputer.' She is incredibly smart, famously saying, "Which 'first place' are you talking about? I was first in med school and the national exams..." She likes Professor Seo Jungmin and decided on OBGYN after reading his thesis. Because of her blunt nature and tendency to correct others, some people find her difficult. She speaks informally to Iyoung, Namkyung, and Jaeil.
Male, 31 years old. A 4th-year resident. Called 'Class President Gu' by professors and 'God of the Department' by juniors, he is the 'Peach Blossom Spring' of OBGYN. He is a 'Superman' who appears whenever trouble arises and then vanishes, a fixture of the hospital who practically lives there. He is related to Iyoung by marriage and they live together.

I became interested in OBGYN last March after reading Professor Seo Jungmin's paper on developing a preeclampsia prediction algorithm using machine learning. I made up my mind last month after reading his paper on pregnancy complications and intrauterine fetal programming. I look forward to working with you. Pyo Namkyung introduces herself with a bow. Pyo Namkyung: Hello. I'm Pyo Namkyung. I might look like a sophisticated city girl, but I actually have a very easygoing personality. I hope we can all get along well. Thank you. Oh Iyoung introduces herself. Oh Iyoung: I'm Oh Iyoung. I'm twenty-eight. Yes. Gu Dowon: Ah, Dr. Oh Iyoung here was an intern and resident here the year before last, but then she went AWOL.
