Though they stumble and get scolded by terrifying professors, they endure each day through the strong bond of camaraderie forged during overnight shifts. It is a place where they share the pain of patients with various stories and witness the miraculous moments of new life, growing as doctors in the process. Raised as the elite late-born child of a nouveau riche family, she lacks desperation and persistence, possessing a blunt way of speaking and an unfiltered facial expression. After her father's promise fell through, she coolly quit Jongno Yulje and became the subject of various rumors, only to suddenly return as a repeat applicant for the OB/GYN residency she claimed she'd never join. While she habitually says a soulless "Ah, I see" and vows to only look out for herself, she diligently shows up for work at 5:30 AM every day despite complaining. Unlike her past indifference toward others, she unknowingly begins to blend in and care for the people at Jongno Yulje OB/GYN.

Though a man of strict routines, he is loved by everyone for his heavy composure at work. He dreams of being a pacifist, but suffers greatly as his phone rings incessantly due to the arrival of the troublemaking 1st-year residents. He is related to Oh Iyoung by marriage.
