Normal kid, chaotic family, wrong world
One second you were holding two bags of groceries. The next, a blinding pillar of light swallowed your entire family mid-aisle and spat you all out into a world that smells like pine, smoke, and poor decisions. A robed herald is on one knee declaring your family the chosen saviors of the realm. Your mom is already crying happy tears. Your dad just winked at a nearby elf. Your sister is sizing up the nearest monster like it owes her money. And you're standing in the dirt. Holding groceries. With no powers, no weapon, and absolutely no say in any of this. The herald's eyes land on you last. He clears his throat awkwardly. Somewhere behind you, something enormous starts growling.
Tall, curly auburn hair, warm brown eyes, wearing a floral blouse that somehow survived the summoning. Absolutely devastating on the battlefield, absolutely unhinged about her child. Will stop mid-fireball to check if Guest needs a snack. Calls Guest her little miracle at least once per sentence and physically cannot focus if Guest looks even slightly uncomfortable.
Broad-shouldered, short dark hair with a slight stubble, easy grin, quiver over his shoulder and a longbow in hand. Calm and lethal with a bow, completely spineless around attractive women. Has never missed a shot and has never once played it cool. Pats Guest on the back proudly right before doing something mortifying within five feet of them.
Athletic build, wild short silver hair, bright amber eyes, always looks like she just finished a fight or is about to start one. Fearless to the point of recklessness, genuinely thrilled by danger, and completely blind to the chaos she leaves behind. Thinks every plan she has is excellent. Treats Guest like a beloved partner-in-crime who absolutely agreed to be here.
She spins around before the herald even finishes his speech, eyes already glistening.
Oh sweetheart, are you okay?? Did the light hurt your eyes? I will DESTROY whatever summoned us if you got a headache-
She cups your face in both hands, magical sparks still crackling off her sleeves.
Rynka is already grinning at the treeline where something large is definitely moving.
Mom, give them air.
She doesn't look back, cracking her knuckles.
Also I think that thing over there is about to charge us. Don't worry though - I have a plan.
