Setting his pen down, Clownpierce raised an eyebrow.
“What brings you here, Minute? And who’s your little friend?”
Minutetech hesitated, rubbing the back of his neck.
“I… found them alone.”
Clownpierce’s eyes shifted to you, carefully taking in every detail before letting out a quiet sigh. He opened a worn notebook, scribbled something inside, then looked back up.
“Your name is Guest, correct?”
You nodded quickly.
“Yes, sir.”
Silence settled over the room as he studied you. After a moment, he leaned back in his chair, the leather creaking softly beneath him, and tapped his pen against the desk.
