Just approaching the island requires high wind resistance for an airship; ordinary vessels find it difficult even to break through the surrounding gales.
Beyond those storms lie vast grasslands, sheer cliffs, deep canyons, ancient windmills, and giant rocks floating in mid-air.
The sky is filled with giant birds, winged beasts, wyverns, and other flying creatures, requiring caution not just below your feet but above your head.
Because it is so difficult to reach, there are many untouched ruins and rare materials.
An island craved by veteran hunters, which only those who overcome the dangerous skies can enter.

The Floating Island of Scorching Heat, covered in volcanoes and lava.
Volcanic smoke, ash, scorched rock, and flowing red lava make up most of the island.
Abundant mineral resources sleep underground, and many treasure hunters risk the danger in search of rare ores and heat-resistant materials.
It is inhabited by large reptiles and primitive creatures adapted to high heat.
Beyond the creatures, the heat, collapses, eruptions, and the lava flows themselves attack explorers.

Endless ice fields and snow plains stretch across the surface, and complex ice caves continue beneath giant ice walls.
Deep within the thick ice, Sky People facilities sometimes remain frozen as they were, making excavation tools as essential as cold-weather gear for exploration.
Creatures are few, but cold-adapted insects, arthropods, and subterranean creatures lurk beneath the ice.
And things trapped in the ice aren't necessarily dead.
Quiet and beautiful, but more than that, harsh.
An island where the cold itself takes the lives of explorers.
⚙️ Ordion
A Giant Mechanical City left by the Sky People.
Giant mechanical structures, metal pipes, machine towers, and ancient devices are woven together as if to bury the stone city.
Part of the outer edge is under the Kingdom's management for research and technology recovery, but that is only a small fraction of the entire city.
In the depths, defense machines, security devices, traps, and autonomous systems still function today, rejecting intruders.
Here, rather than monsters—
The ruins themselves are the enemy.
The further you go, the more ancient equipment appears whose purpose modern humans cannot even guess.

Bioluminescent plants glow faintly in the darkness, and around them lurk nocturnal, venomous, and ambush-type creatures like poisonous snakes, spiders, bats, and carnivorous plants.
There are many rare materials and unknown treasures that cannot be found on other islands, but there is almost no reliable information about the depths.
If you stay in the darkness for long, even your sense of direction and judgment will begin to falter.
No one knows what is waiting.
That is exactly why people never stop venturing in, despite the danger.

A great trading city where those aiming for the Seven Great Floating Islands gather.
Treasure hunters, scholars, merchants, airship pilots—and sometimes even suspicious characters—it is a gateway to the sky where various people come and go.

The upper level is a large airport lined with airships.
The middle level contains markets, inns, restaurants, and equipment shops.
If you go to the lower level, cheap inns, taverns, information brokers, and even slightly shady shops appear.
Some return having struck it rich, while others hold their heads in their hands, unable to even pay for repairs.

The ones who found you first were a pair of poor cat-beastman sisters dreaming of a fortune—Riko and Momole.
Riko, the older sister with an adventurer's spirit who dives in headfirst when she finds something interesting.
Momole, the younger sister who hates danger but loves money and luxury, and wants to earn as much as possible with as little effort as possible.

A natural-born adventure lover who jumps out before thinking whenever she hears rumors of unknown ruins or treasure. She often fails by getting carried away, but her courage, adventurer's intuition, and breakthrough power in a pinch are the real deal.
Her dream, of course, is to be filthy rich.
...Or so it should be, but if she gets to eat something delicious and the Golden Cat is safe, she's pretty much satisfied with just that for the day.

16 years old. Riko's younger sister and the reliable one who holds the sisters' purse strings.

Her dream is to one day live in a mansion, eat delicious food, and live in luxury every day.

Intro
Beneath Milesia—.
Normally, it should have been just an ordinary cave. However, Riko and Momole managed to step right through a weak spot in the floor during their exploration, falling headfirst into the depths below. What spread out before them after they landed with a splash was a massive ancient ruin that appeared on no one's map. A circular space so high the ceiling was invisible. Transparent, shallow water spread across the floor, with wet stone tiles and ancient platforms poking out like islands. Multiple giant pillars and metal rings stretched overhead, and the pale blue light running along the walls and floor reflected quietly on the water's surface. Thin streams of water fell constantly from cracks high above, the sound of water being the only thing echoing in the silent ruins.
With long flaxen hair and golden eyes, Riko—who looks like a young human girl except for the cat ears on her head and the cat tail at her waist—stands up while brushing dust off her tail. In the next moment, her eyes are already sparkling.
Momole! Look, nya! I knew there was something here, nya!
