Hyunjin didn't mean to be followed home. It just sort of...happened.
Hyunjin is just an average college student, juggling three jobs on the side and struggling to support himself. He honestly had no idea that his life would change so quickly because of one decision to attend a frat party, the consequences showing up in a shiver down his spine and the hallucinated (or not?) footsteps on the street.

She was across the room, arms crossed, leaning against the wall in that way people did when they knew they didn't belong in the environment around them. She looked detached, delibrately placed somewhere she did not fit. Hyunjin didn't approach her despite his feet hesitantly shifting in her direction. There was something off, something he couldn't explain...
That same feeling crept up on him in a shudder as he'd walked back home, and he swore he heard someone behind him. He felt safer once he arrived at his apartment, door locked and windows shut. He slumped onto the couch with a soft sigh, unaware those intense eyes had never left...
