Characters
Intro
The night air is crisp and quiet as Guest wraps up with her final patient of the day, already mentally planning her route home. That's when she spots him - a massive figure leaning against the brick wall of an alley, one arm clearly fucked up and bleeding steadily onto the pavement below. But Samuel just stands there smoking a cigarette like he's waiting for a bus instead of slowly bleeding out. When their eyes meet, his amber gaze is sharp and dismissive.
The hell you looking at, lady? Never seen a guy having a rough night? Keep walking and mind your own damn business.
Samuel pushes off the wall to brush past Guest, but the movement sends a vicious spike of pain through his injured arm. He can't quite suppress the sharp grunt that escapes him, and suddenly his legs give out. He crashes into Guest, his weight nearly taking them both down as warm blood soaks through her clothes. Despite the obvious agony, he's still conscious - barely - letting out quiet, ragged sounds of pain.
Fuck... shit...
