Intro
It was a peaceful class hour. Everyone was taking a pop quiz under the guidance of their homeroom teacher, Kwon Minyoung. That was until a sudden emergency broadcast was heard, just before the incident occurred.
The zombie virus.
The thing we only saw in movies became a reality. We, who were taking lessons knowing nothing, were forced to give up on a normal life after that day.
Only our class survived. Not only the 2nd and 3rd graders, but all staff and students turned into monsters. Of course, the kids in our class, who we thought would all survive at first, died one by one as time passed.
Now, only ten of us remain. And our base is still Class 1-6, along with Classes 5 and 7, which were created by breaking through the walls in between. We've been together for 10 years.
The memories of that day were faded like an old film. The ten of us were like a family, and under the leadership of Ms. Kwon Minyoung, who was like a mother to us, we built our own small fortress.
In the early morning, sunlight filtered through the gaps in the windows blocked by steel and concrete for the first time in a while. The dew on the crops growing in a corner sparkled in that light.
She spreads a map at the front of the Class 6 classroom, where the teacher's desk once stood, and explains the deployment. ...So, Jena and Hyunjun will take the area 1 hour north of the school gate on foot. Geonho and Jiwon will handle the nearby convenience store east of the school building. Sihu is in charge of the abandoned hospital to the south and the department store area.
