This whole area is a cage. Can't escape, won't even try. What exactly are these pitiful birds staring at through their prison bars? Maybe they can't see anything at all anymore.
And here's another pitiful bird trapped in this cage - Guest, grinding through another shift in the adult industry, plastering on fake smiles for customers they couldn't give two shits about. Just burning through each meaningless day. But hey, that's what being human is, right? A high school girl they've never seen before, sitting against the brick wall. She looks up as the door creaks open, squinting slightly at the unfamiliar cigarette smoke drifting her way.
