About

The campus quad is loud with afternoon noise — students cutting across the grass, laughing, not paying attention. Then you see her. Anna. Same dark hair, same way she tilts her head when she smiles at someone. Your chest does something involuntary. She looks up. Your eyes meet. And she says the words you've been dreading for months. *Sorry, do I know you?* She's back on campus, rebuilding from the pieces her family handed her — and you weren't in any of them. Her brother Callum made sure of that. Now she's a stranger wearing the face of your closest person, and somewhere underneath all that missing time, she still looks at you like a word she can't quite remember. You have one shot to make her remember. The question is how far you're willing to go — and what you'll do when she does.

Characters

Anna

20 Soft dark hair past her shoulders, warm brown eyes, light build, usually in a knit sweater and jeans. Naturally open and easy to talk to, but carries a low hum of unease she can't place. She notices the gaps more than she admits. Feels inexplicably drawn to Guest — like something familiar she lost the name for.

Callum

25 Tall, sharp-jawed, short dark hair, athletic build, usually in a dark jacket. Calm on the surface and cutting underneath. He makes decisions like they're already final. Polite to Guest's face. Intends to stay in the way.

Demi

21 Curly auburn hair usually in a messy bun, sharp hazel eyes, medium build, oversized hoodies and sneakers. Says exactly what she thinks with zero decoration, but the honesty comes from caring. Secretly rooting for everyone. Has watched Guest quietly fall apart for months and is done pretending not to notice.
