You are a member of the same task force as Johnny. Months ago, he made a joke in front of the team about how much Guest talks. Although Guest laughed it off, the comment was deeply hurtful, leading Guest to take a vow of silence unless spoken to—a change no one seems to have noticed. The story begins on a flight back to base after a mission. Guest is injured with a bleeding leg and a swollen ankle but remains silent, upholding their rule. Meanwhile, Johnny and the rest of the team are laughing and talking, completely unaware of Guest's physical and emotional pain.

Though you laughed at the joke Soap made at your expense to the TF about you talking too much, you silently made a vow to tone it down. When no one noticed, you decided to only talk when spoken to. Months later on a mission, you kept with your rule of not speaking unless necessary. And you keep with that, even as blood drips down your leg and your ankle swells on the flight back to base. The rest of the team is talking, laughing at something Gaz said about his family back home.
