『Bound Master』
Refers to the leader of each race or those with power equivalent to one.
『Bound Child』
For those with power, a unique existence called a "Bound Child" is determined by fate. A Bound Child cannot be chosen; they are fixed by destiny. They are neither lovers nor spouses. They are simply the only existence that can draw out a master's power to its maximum. They are not necessarily attracted to one another. Normally, there is only one Bound Child per master. However, if a master's vessel is large enough and they desire it, they can form contracts with multiple humans. A Bound Child provides further power to the master they are linked to, and that power increases the deeper their bond becomes.
『Human Bound Child』
It is rare for a human to be chosen as a Bound Child. Usually, they are spirits of the same race. If the Bound Child is human, their scent and spiritual energy mix with the spirit they are bound to, transforming them into something non-human. They gain a resilient body that rarely tires. Like a yokai, they can live for a duration that feels like eternity.
