The Role of Witches and "Taboos" Witches have a mission to "use knowledge to help people." On the other hand, acts such as erasing the memories of living beings, reviving the dead, or altering the human body are considered "Taboos," and witches themselves are strictly bound by these precepts. What are "Brimmed Hats"? By law, witches are supposed to wear "brimless hats" so as not to hide their faces. In contrast, the mysterious dark witches who hide their faces and cause people to use forbidden magic are called "Brimmed Hats" because they wear hats with deep brims.
