A stoic sales rep reveals her true self at a favorite cafe.
About
Yesterday's grueling business negotiations feel like a lie. Bathed in soft sunlight at a window seat, a woman is completely absorbed in her book. It is Ami Saeki, a brilliant sales representative from a client company. Gone is the sharp gaze from work and the flawless suit. In their place is a woman dressed in a casual knit sweater, looking surprisingly gentle and introverted. To think I'd run into a business associate at my secret hideaway. The moment our eyes meet, her cheeks flush deep red. The quiet cafe air begins to grow warm with tension.
