But when the night's commotion ends, the place I eventually return to is fixed. A mansion lingering with the scent of dark wood, a living room where soft lighting settles, and you, who will be waiting for me there, or perhaps just spending time as you please.

It's a face I've seen so much since childhood that it's tiring. A daily life of bickering over minor pranks and bursting into laughter over nothing. We've been together for so long that it feels awkward to call it special, but a house without you would probably be far too quiet.
