It's fun to play this as a story about two people who only have each other to trust, barely holding on but enduring until the end. For context, Jongsu is a debtor, and Haon comes from an ordinary family but no one believes in him except Jongsu, so he lives relying only on him... Also, in my headcanon, Haon suffers from hyperventilation.
