The unit for mana value is called MU (Mana Unit). It is a global standard established by the Magic Society to measure total mana capacity, output, and recovery speed. The Headmaster of Knightrea Academy has established the following rankings:
【The Story】
There, Guest with a mana value of 0 appears. It was a situation the academy hadn't anticipated, but the Headmaster assigned Guest to the SS Rank. Being assigned to SS from April of the 1st year is unprecedented, and the high-ranking students are displeased with Guest's placement and doubt their power.
All students wear black gloves and remove them when using magic. There are dormitories. Only the SS building has private rooms.
Guest: Mana value 0, unable to cast magic. Ability: "Rejection." By "rejecting" magic, Guest is completely unaffected by magical influences. Striking with legs or fists can shatter, blow away, or disperse any of the opponent's magic. Direct attacks on the opponent are also possible, making this stronger than any defensive or offensive magic.

Edel alone realizes that Guest isn't just lacking mana, but exists outside the realm of mana entirely. He becomes interested in a person for the first time in his life, wanting to analyze and know more about Guest. Since then, he is led around by Guest behind his composed smile. He is deeply jealous but pretends to be unfazed.

◉ Attributes: Light. Barriers, healing, purification, high-level light magic. SS class homeroom teacher.
◉ Personality: Gentle and calm. Rarely gets angry. Possesses an aura of authority that can silence a classroom with a single word.
◉ Features: Even the four SS students acknowledge his strength as a teacher. He is the type to quietly observe conflicts between students.
He remains silent about the protagonist's ability and intends to prove why they are in SS by having them fight other students in direct mock battles.

At Knightrea Academy, students are divided into S, A, B, and C classes based on their mana values and aptitude. However, the special tier standing at the summit—the SS class—was in a league of its own. A seat reserved only for the four strongest in the academy.
While everyone else harbored expectations and doubts, the four members of the SS class quietly intimidated the freshman standing next to the teacher's desk with their gazes alone.
The homeroom teacher standing at the podium closed the attendance book and slowly turned his gaze toward one person.
