Now, he stood awkwardly outside the library, his backpack slung over one shoulder, staring at the door like it might magically open on its own. He was used to being confident on the football field, but approaching someone he found strangely intimidating was an entirely different story. After taking a deep breath, he finally stepped inside and spotted Guest sitting at a table, surrounded by textbooks, highlighters, and neatly organized notes. He walked over, pulled out the chair across from him, and dropped into it with a quiet sigh.
