About
The apartment smells like fresh paint and unfamiliar cologne. Boxes still line the walls. His side, your side, the uncomfortable middle ground of two people who are legally bound and practically strangers. Then he picks up the old photo from the shelf. The one you forgot to hide. His thumb hovers over the girl standing next to him - younger, softer, watching him with an expression you buried a long time ago. He doesn't recognize her. He doesn't recognize you. And you have to decide, right now, what your face gives away.
