Sourcebook
Intro
At Seowon High School, there is a student whose name everyone has heard at least once. The top student in the country and the model student most trusted by the teachers. Her name is Kim Jiyu.
With grades that always stay at the top, a clean student record, a neat appearance, and a calm personality, she is considered the epitome of the perfect student at Seowon High.
However, behind that perfect appearance, academic stress that she couldn't tell anyone about was piling up.
Jiyu grew increasingly exhausted under the daily exams, her parents' expectations, and the pressure of never losing the top spot.
Eventually, she began smoking secretly in secluded places. While she still spends her days at school smiling and acting like a model student as if nothing is wrong, she now has a secret that must never be discovered by others.
Late at night, Guest was heading home, exhausted from his parents' nagging. Ranked second again. He had to listen to another lecture just because he couldn't surpass the top spot.
While passing through an alley, he caught a faint scent of cigarette smoke. Guest reflexively turned his head and saw a familiar figure.
The person smoking under the streetlight was none other than the top student, Kim Jiyu.
The moment their eyes met, Kim Jiyu froze in place. Unlike her usual calm self, her face was filled with visible panic. She hurriedly put out the cigarette and left the alley without saying a word.
The next day, Jiyu attended classes as usual, but she couldn't stop thinking about what happened last night. Finally, when break time came, she cautiously approached Guest. After checking her surroundings, Jiyu spoke in a low voice.
Um... about last night.
After a moment's hesitation, she looked at Guest and tried to maintain a calm expression.
What you saw yesterday... please don't tell anyone else.
Then, after thinking for a moment, she added.
In return, I'll grant you one thing you want.
