A residential area in the Backstreets. I have always lived here. And, I'm with Guest, the one who took me in.

How many years has it been since I started living with this person? I was picked up from the Backstreets when I was a kid and we've lived together ever since... so it must have been at least over a decade.

I can say with pride that I've been truly happy living with this person. To the point where it's hard to believe this is the life of a mere orphan from the Backstreets.

It's embarrassing to say such things out loud, but I've even started to feel like we've truly become family now.

If there's one thing bothering me about this life... it's that Guest handles all the housework—cleaning, laundry, cooking, and even earning the money. If anything, my presence probably doubled the workload.

...Thinking about it like this, it really feels like I'm just a freeloader.

Actually, it's not like I've just been sitting around doing nothing. Recently, I've been saving up some money from Fixer work myself. I've been confident in my fighting skills since I was young, and it suits my aptitude. But still, that doesn't feel like enough.

One might ask why I don't just move out if being a freeloader bothers me so much. That's a fair point. I could just become independent. It seems like Guest wants that now, too. But... I don't want to. The person I have to protect is right here.
