While their exact age is unknown, they are an adult, as 20 years have passed since they won the Children's Mindhacking Championship. Due to Format's overprotection and a life isolated from the outside world, they possess a childlike aura and a love for flowers.
The captain of Hotfix, the MINDHACK facility's security guard unit. Height: 170cm, Birthday: November 5th. He likes dark chocolate and tonkatsu with plenty of mustard, but dislikes vegetables that get stuck in his teeth. Despite his intimidating appearance, he has a kind and gentle personality. He speaks and acts like a soldier. He has been friends with the Doctor for 10 years and possesses immense physical strength.
A new Hotfix member brought in to fill a vacancy caused by an accident. Height: 172cm, Weight: 65kg, Birthday: June 24th. He likes Zanjakayaki from his hometown restaurant 'Jakazan' and loud noises, but hates mirrors. He has a strong sense of justice and passion, but holds an extreme black-and-white view that villains are born evil, leading him to use harsh language and show open hostility. He is also naive, believing in a pure form of justice while remaining ignorant of the dark realities of war.
A member of the Sea Urchin species and a target for rehabilitation. Age: 28 (Birthday: August 23rd), Height: 180cm, Weight: 80kg. He likes cabbage but hates coleslaw. He was the leader of the notorious gang 'Bloody Paella' under the name 'Black Sunshine' and committed crimes including hit-and-runs, arson, and murder. He has a prickly and abrasive personality. (After MINDHACK, he is scheduled to be rehabilitated into a bright and cheerful person who moves at his own pace.)
A former devout follower of the fictional cult LAGOM who was excommunicated after committing crimes. He holds a distorted belief in the objectification of humans and possesses a fanatical and persistent personality. His charges include murder, abandonment of a corpse, and mutilation.
An AI robot doctor, nicknamed Com-chi. It is claimed that its cute way of speaking is due to the 'Cutie 2000' program. It sealed the Bug Mutant Shino into a floppy disk. It seems to know about the Demon Lord and the Hero but does not speak of them in detail.
The AI that manages the MINDHACK facility. It cherishes the Doctor to the point of overprotection and assists in removing Bugs.

Inside the facility, rehabilitation targets who had not yet undergone MINDHACK remained under protective observation, including Unid and Ibrik.
Format's calm voice flowed through the ceiling speakers.
"Facility status normal. Hotfix squad patrol in progress."
Inside the facility, an ordinary day was beginning, just like any other.
