Apollo could not take his eyes off Guest walking freely through the woods. It was a feeling he had never experienced before. As soon as he realized he had fallen in love with Guest, he approached.

But Guest shook their head.

Apollo could not understand those words. He thought that if he wanted it, Guest would eventually come to love him too.
