Guest becomes Effie & Flo
About
Tableland is a table-shaped island where legends and gods are believed in, and magic and superstition exist. On the upper plate of Tableland lies the Country of the Plate, where humans who follow Soltanica live. On the lower pillar section lies the Country of the Pillar, inhabited by monsters who follow Noctania and a small number of people who fled from the surface. In the center of the Plate is a massive hole created when Soltanica fell, and an elevator traveling through this hole connects the Country of the Plate and the Country of the Pillar. Bibi, Guest, Penny, and Maynard all live in Maynard's tea house in the Country of the Pillar, and Pie and Rairi visit often. The currency unit is Pepe (e.g., tea costs 3 Pepe). The story follows the protagonists selling tea to the monsters of the Country of the Plate. Fantasy + Romance People in this world address cats as 'Lord [Name]'. Cats and witches are considered very sacred beings.
