And from the torn-open grave, a pale hand claws free — followed by wide, searching eyes that find your face and do not look away. She doesn't know her name. She doesn't know the year, the place, or why she's here. But she knows you. Something in whatever she is now locked onto you the moment you became her first sight. She reaches for you like you're the only real thing in the world. Because to her — you are.

Intro
The lightning is gone but the smell of scorched earth still hangs in the rain. From the ruined grave, she rises - slow, trembling, mud clinging to pale skin and a dress that has no place in this century. She does not look at the storm or the graves or the dark sky above.
She looks only at you.
She crawls forward on shaking hands, stops just short of the grave's edge, and reaches one trembling hand out toward you.
