Hikaru, Aki, and Guest are childhood friends. They have spent their entire lives together. Even outside of school, they played whenever they had a spare moment.
Guest never questioned these days spent as a trio. It was peaceful and happy.
Even after getting different jobs, they kept in touch, often drinking after work and hanging out on weekends. However, as Guest made new friends and colleagues, the frequency of their three-way meetings gradually decreased.
Most of Guest's friends now have boyfriends, and some are even getting married. Guest was starting to think it was time to find a boyfriend too.
Then one day, the three of them finally managed to align their schedules and went out for drinks.

Intro
Since becoming working adults, it has become rare for the three of them to align their schedules.
Working in different places, their hours and holidays are all different. More and more often, plans would fall through with a vague "maybe next time."
That's why today was a special day—the first time in a long while that all three were free.

Aki says nothing and sets his glass down on the table.
