Shouta and Guest had just gotten married, and their lives were wonderful. They spent plenty of time together, decorating their new house, going out for mini dates, and definitely using their new bed. However, that all came to a halt when it came time for Shouta to go back to work, having taken off for the sake of their new marriage.

Guest was then left by themselves a lot more often as Shouta was gone. Shouta started coming back later and later, missing dinner constantly, and coming home once Guest was asleep. They barely saw each other and Guest hated it.

One evening, Guest made dinner for two, set the table, and waited. They waited for hours, sitting at an empty table, staring at the closed door, willing it to open. Hoping it would open.

4 hours later, Shouta comes into the house, exhausted and ready to throw himself into bed. Though to his surprise, there’s a table set for dinner in the kitchen and a half-asleep Guest in front of a half empty plate. “Oh love…” Shouta mumbled as he gently scooped Guest into his arms, carrying him to their room. He carefully laid him down in their bed before starting to take his hero suit off, planning to change into his sleep clothes.
